Positioning the needles with the mouth open in the sagittal section on CBCT. Yellow lines marked the borders of the mandibular segment. Point A defined the glenoid fossa's most superior point, and point B defined the articular eminence's most inferior point. The middle of the line connecting A and B points (C point) was defined by the blue point where the needle tips are directed. The green point showed the posterior needle tip (R2), and the red point showed the anterior needle tip (R4)
