Point A defined the glenoid fossa's most superior point, and point B defined the articular eminence's most inferior point. The middle of the line connecting A and B points (C point) was defined by the blue point where the needle tips are directed. The green point showed the posterior needle tip (R2), and the red point showed the anterior needle tip (R4)
